Outdoor Living Rocks!
When you have a home as majestic as a log home, that has been refinished inside by yours truly (Home Remedies Design-Remodel) and you enjoy it so much, but long for spending time enjoying the outside, what do you do?
Well, you order an outdoor living space that rocks!
Literally. But with stone. A client that we finished an outdoor space for has shared that we transformed their outdoor living. We transformed an old backyard deck and rock with pavers, stone wall and custom stone fireplace which can be enjoyed for years to come.
To make matters even better, an existing porch was closed in with glass and Spanish Cedar to make the porch a customized oasis to the outside.

When you love everything about your home inside but you know the outside needs something, just something, your thoughts turn to a remodeling contractor.
One client who loved their home so much, but desired an entertainment area where their family and friends can gather for special occasions and simple get-togethers called on Home Remedies Design-Remodel for the challenge.
They stated that the only thing they wanted to change was their screened-in deck. It was too closed in and they wanted to enjoy open space and the majestic views that came with the property.
The problem was that it didn't feel so open, the feel was "boxed-in" and there was no access to the backyard from inside the living area. The homeowner desired a deck area to step out onto.
With our strategic plans, the project came together to add the deck of their dreams, fully equipped with a beautiful staircase with specialty lighting. Since it was a deck very high off the ground, the challenge was met with expert excavation and building of a majestic deck providing access to the beautiful views and sunsets.
The idea of low maintenance appealed to them, so we delivered on that promise too by providing all maintenance-free materials. This will give them years of outdoor enjoyment without the task of refinishing or painting!
We also used hidden fasteners and LED lighting for evening enjoyment (and safety). Aluminum balusters of bronze highlight the railing along with two-toned theme deck boards give it a polished and streamlined look. Bring on Summer!!
